Hurray! I get the chance to participate in Youth Adventure and Youth Leaders Forum 2014 in Jogjakarta and Jakarta next February. Yeah, it was a quite long selection process...I had to pass 3 sets of test. First: biography and essay. Second: 3 interviews (English & Achievements, Vision & Mission, and Affirmative Interview), focus group discussion, physical test (I run every morning in a week to prepare this test but at the day, they didn't ask us to run, and I was bad at that test *sigh) , and cultural performance (and this part was really so-so, hahaha). Third: giving back program proposal.
Praise to the Lord, I passed all the test and officially be a participant. I believe that it will be a rung of my big ladder to reach my dream. I have a feeling that this event will help me much in the future. I am super excited too because I gonna learn from many people in this event. Najwa Shihab and Ahok are two of inspiring leaders that will talk in the session.
Besides, we are going to do a social trip and make some projects on our way....(inhale)....(exhale)....ohh, that's gonna be awesome...
I promise to myself that I will write each session insights so everyone can learn too..
Oh, I has begun the giving back program, and it's not as easy as I thought before...I hope I could keep up the spirit. It's about facilitating the high school students in Jambi to go out from their comfort zone and studying out of the province to get better education. If you are interested in helping the students to look for their passion and dream, please kindly contact me!
Last, the point that I learnt form this preparation is like the committee said "mereka yang ragu-ragu adalah mereka yang kalah sebelum berperang" -- those who hesitate are lost before the war!
YES ! Try and keep fighting !
