Kiluan Trip (2)

previous story.....

Still about Kiluan, now I wanna tell you about what we did after we treked to the Lagoon...
It was about 5 pm and we went to our cottage to put our stuffs in the cottage. Oh, the cottage is not at the same island with the Lagoon, so we have to cross the bay by using Jukung (a very slim boat)

As usual we didn't  waste our time, right after arrived at cottage, we played at the beach next to the cottage and we're waiting for the sunset...unfortunately, the sunset was not so good as I expected, but it's okay because the beach was very comfy and it's like our private island...

While we're waiting for our Jukung, we met these cute kids :)
Rough and tumble play

Ka Pritha asked the kids to sing a song together

Mores, Ka Pritha and our dinner ;p
Our kitchen, just for boiling water to make instant noodle

What we're waiting for

This fish is on fireeeeeee!!!

Where are the dolphins?
Oh, I'm sorry,  I can't show you the dolphin, when I was there I was not as lucky as my friend, they saw about 9 dolphins danced in the water while I and my Jukung friends  just saw about 3-4 of them... so I couldn't capture them at that moment...so sad ;'(

This bamboo is part of my Jukung, but I don't know the function ;p

Let's have lunch!

One of the most unforgettable moment is the moment in picture above and it supports my statement in previous article that this trip is one of the most adventurous trip for me. Our minibus wheel suddenly broke on the way to Lampung, so we decided to have our lunch on the road while our driver changed the wheel...Bang Dian, our driver also had his lunch right after he repaired the wheel.

We arrived at Bakauheuni Lampung about 8 p.m and we spent the night in the ship about 3 hours, but we had to wait quite long for  the bus fulfilled the seats. The bus run form Merak to Jakarta in 2 hours, and finally we got our bed at 3 a.m. At first I think I might not have enough energy to wake up for work, but in fact  I woke up as usual in the morning and  started worked at office 7.30.

I think travelling doesn't make us tired, on the other hand it recharges us:)

Kiluan Trip (1): Tiga Sekawan Lagoon

Our destination in this trip is Kiluan Bay. The Kiluan Bay is located in Lampung Province, Indonesia, the southest province in Sumatra Island. The Kiluan Bay is famous by its Dolphins which often jump and dance in the bay's water. However, there are some beautiful spots that you can explore in this area and in this page I'm going to show you about one area called Tiga Sekawan Lagoon (Three Friends Lagoon)

Oh! Before you enjoy the pictures below, you have to know that this trip was the most adventurous for me so far, because we spent almost 13 hours to get there. Here are the details:
10 pm - 01 am : From Jakarta to Merak Port by bus
01 am - 04 am : From Merak Port to Bakauheuni (Lampung Port) by Ferry ship
04 am - 07 am : From Bakauheuni Port to Lampung by rent car
08 am - 01 pm : From Lampung to Kiluan by minibus

We didn't have time to have our lunch, when we arrived, we just changed our clothes and did prayer for the Moslems and went for trekking. I actually dunno where the energy came from, but what we saw at the beach and lagoon really flushed away our tiredness..
